Array ( [sid] => 176089 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => When We Were Lost [time] => 2013-05-19 21:23:31 [hometext] => On not forgetting the misdeeds of our past. This is mainly written to Christains but all are welcome to read. [bodytext] => Even in the midst of trials
There is a road we walk
Tempered by the grace we have
Because we once were lost
Driven by the life of Christ
who died upon a cross.
Risen from the grave again
after paying our cost

In the heavens they are watching for to see
Can we walk this path of righteousness we creed
or will we live again the way that we once did
Unbridled passions ever blowing in the wind

(Chorus)(1 stanza)
That is how we were when we were lost
Passions burning deep within our hearts
Quenched briefly by ever darkened deeds
But we're called to live so differently

Men give into their passions and lust
Forgetting respect for their lov'ed ones
Making life easier for themselves
Never thinking of the consequences

(Chorus 1 stanza)
That is how we were when we were lost
Passions burning deep within our hearts
Quenched briefly by ever darkened deeds
But we're called to live so differently

(Bridge 1 Stanza)
And that is why we are reminded
To deny ourselves and keep trying
To purge the thoughts that render selfishness
For those who live this way are blinded
They can't please God their life is binded
And nothing that he does makes sense to them

Chorus
