Array ( [sid] => 176034 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My Ink [time] => 2013-05-12 15:22:02 [hometext] => People often question my body art and this is my answer to them. [bodytext] => An odd, yet beautiful form of art.
A momento of life, In death it will not part.
A tale of ones, historic being.
Inked your soul, it is your heart you are freeing.

An illustration of my art and its meaning to me.
An explanation, for all the judgementals to see.
So remove that sour expression from your face.
And listen closely, before words are placed.

"Disrespecting your body, with scribbles and clutter"
Rebellious and deviant are the words you mutter.
Each scribble your eyes, pass and criticise.
Are personal adventures, dont you realise ?

Each scribble is a chapter, in my book of existence.
So come and read, hold back your resistance.
I welcome you to my life, here is the start.
There is no end, it is my continuous art.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
