[bodytext] => Once there was a maiden, beautiful and fair.
Though not dealt the best cards in life she did the best she could.
Until I met her Love was just a word I never understood.
People think she's tough and getto but she's misunderstood.
She's vulnerable and I'd save her if I could.
Another single mother forced to mature before her years.
If I could swallow all her pain and dry up all her tears.
I would, I would walk through razor blades of rain.
I cannot understand it it's mature beyond my years - her pain.
I would subject it all to me if I'd knew it'd make her happy.
This is not how it should be.
If it would ease her suffering and end her sorrow, for her,
I'd gladly die tomorrow.
She can make it if she tries and if she needs me to I'll
gently wipe away, every tear she cries.
I'll respect her and tell her no lies, I'd tell the truth, I'd tell
her not to worry to look into my eyes, I'd tell her trust me
You've found some one who's gonna love you till he

Yes it's tough these days to deal with mental illness and raising a child young. Feels like I had it easy almost 40 years ago.
Nice write! Namaste'
