[hometext] => for those of us who remember pencils
[bodytext] => My life is spent tracing these rhymes I'm embracing; But all this erasing makes holes in my style! turned phrases conducive are likewise elusive; A day's work inclusive? A laughable pile! Sustained concentration yields deactivation; (While sweet inspiration keeps arms-lengths away!) but friends keep inviting my sing-songy writing; And while they're inciting, I'm fast turning gray! I've spared them the ills, while my wastebasket fills; to weave them a story without all the swill. In hope that it greets them, compels or entreats them To sample what rose from the thoughts I distill. If you can abide my tongue being tied; my brain soundly fried, and these rhythemless ears; And read poems misleading; without interceding; The I'll try believing you likes what you hears! And leave you the neatness; The tympanic sweetness; In compact completeness; Without all the smears!
