I feel that society wants me to change something,
I feel the urge to also do so.
Yet, my brain is reluctant to absorb these demands,
And is seemingly unwilling to entertain any ideas of improvement.
It is like a communication breakdown between an idealistic idea and an actual action,
A failed attempt at what could in theory be something good for me,
broken down into excuses and blame of elements and circumstances......

Welcome to my dilemma! That could be solved through power of the mind. Yet, I fear, in the end nothing will change...

New Year Resolutions

A short Poem about New Year Resolutions and the complexity of them.....

I feel that society wants me to change something,
I feel the urge to also do so.
Yet, my brain is reluctant to absorb these demands,
And is seemingly unwilling to entertain any ideas of improvement.
