[hometext] => Tongue in cheek humour but suicide nevertheless
[bodytext] => The light of the fire shon from his eyes,
the flames licked the laughing coal. He pulled out a box of England’s Glory And the sun poured out of his side The white flag in his hand symbolised hope His burning desire for peace He crouched in the shadow of kerosene As the sun poured out of his side. The eyes were closed as if in prayer The hair was creaming loud He stared at the smiling centigrade And the sun poured out of his side. The god that came from a cardboard box, The an idol on an altar of fire, Was the emblem of his utopia And the sun poured out of his side The flag was soaked in kerosene All his dreams had perished to. He wanted to burn to live again ....but it rained, so he drowned instead! ©Rosewing [comments] => 1 [counter] => 188 [topic] => 36 [informant] => Rosewing [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )
