[bodytext] => Smother your contemplation my secret indulgence,
breathe not a word of the insanity of love,

sing me a song of a hope with no defeat,
where love is blind and possibilities don't end,

do not deny a feeling or the regret thereafter,
but indulge.. for indulgence is human,

look in my eyes and tell me the truth,
for would not a lie reveal even more,

think not on past confessions,
and come to me with no inhibition,

sing to me a melody and not a lullaby,
for we know what we do, and still commit to action,

feed me not these excuses of the ages,
and come to me only with truth,

for the truth is that i yearn to love,
and i yearn for love to discover the truth. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 214 [topic] => 2 [informant] => deusdeira [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

An interesting poem
what is love? Is love a feeling, or a doing
for fifty odd years I've wondered lost
between the two.
perhaps cummings said it best
its four lean hounds, smiling.

a very thought provoking piece
