[bodytext] => We complain life’s ever so unfair, That the world today is a tragic affair – Then chide a helpless child begging for food In a voice so harsh, the manner, crude. We say the wildlife’s decreasing by day, That nature’s beginning to fade away – Then shoot wildlife – with the gun And kill animals for the sake of fun. We claim we want peace in the land, To end hostilities, to clasp hands – Then provoke others to take up the arms And do the same, causing terrible harm. We say one thing, but differently act, We fail to keep our word intact, Hide in the dark, away from the light – Then wonder why all isn’t right.
