Here I sit,
trying to think,
While writing my thoughts
down in ink.

It’s difficult and consuming
can be sad, but right.
I will be writing
of dreams in sight.

I love to write
by night or day.
I love to write
when I have things to say.

It starts as a feeling
and ends as a thought.
Usually, in between stanzas
is where I’m caught.

I think not little
but a very lot.
When I get thinking,
my thoughts get hot.

Now you’ll have read this poem
and read it through.
You will find
my thoughts caught up in you.

Think of them wrong
or think of them right.
For it is only
about what I like to write.

I try to write well
warm and true.
Most of all
to share my thoughts with you

Very nice. Your words show the freedom there is in letting your thoughts and emotions out. What a great way to show the release. Thank you for sharing. P

Very thoughtful poem. You expressed in words what you were feeling inside and sometimes that is so hard to do.

Way to go. My hat is off to you.
