this is my Anthology
this is what I do
creating simple rhymes
& reaching out to you
interacting with my feelings
that come both day & night
they specify emotion's
in everything I write
they may not mean anything
to anyone but me
but I find it so simple
to set emotion's free
it's been 34 years
of writing like I do
I create them in my heart
& send them straight to you
the hot shot poet
has always been my name
even as a little boy
they called me just the same
so if you read my poems
I hope that you will see
the heart of a poet
that lives inside of me
my words may be confusing
but perfect I am not
but I will always do the best I can
& give it all I've got
