Crashing Waves

Fog swirls thick and grey around Pitfalls hidden in the soft ground Moon camouflages behind the cloud Night wraps the world in its shroud
Waves pound rocks with a vengeance Beach sand melds, disguising a presence Life ebbs forward and back with time Silently whispering no sense or rhyme
People come into our shadow unknown Hearts true meaning never really shown Forced to accept one from another loved Into life's frame pushed, literally shoved
Swallowing fear, taking hold the welcome Embracing new stars, family to become Harnessing apprehension, losing doubt Eyes blindly ignoring a warning shout
Drawn by family love, others into us Accept without hinderance, trying trust Suddenly without hint or slightest glimmer Love and hope merge to hate and anger
What held true with smiles and laughter Taken away by other's drone of disaster Left with falling tears, a heart shattered Giant wave crashes, leaving body battered
Lonely shores washed inch by inch away Blue sky brings hope for the sun today Watching another soul walk away again Still, for awhile, they were family, friend

| It's like expressing views by a word-driven paintbrush on the canvas. Awesome! Kudos! |
