And his morning texts
He told me I'm the only girl in his world
That I was special than the rest

Made me fall for him deeper and deeper everyday
He told me by my side he will always stay
He turned my frowns upside down
Wiped away my tears, through my difficulties he was always around

Held my hand infront of his friends
He even showed me off to his sisters and parents
He told me I was his last thought before he went to sleep And his first when he awoken
He told me his love for me was deep that he would never leave me heartbroken

He took me to see the ocean, taught me how to swim and helped me face my fears
It was us two against the world never allowed anyone to interfere
Forever and always we will be
My Knight in Shining Armour he was there to protect me

He surprised me with the sweetest things
I was hoping one day to expect from him a diamond ring
And then my eyes witnessed something I never imagined
My heart suddenly stoped beating my world blackened

It could not be ,is that him that I see?
With another women in his arms? isnt that’s suppose to be me
No no this cannot be happening, He would never betray me
He loved me He would never hurt me, I was his girl, his baby
He told me No other girl can compare to me
I was his one and only, faithful to me he will always be

I opened up my heart unlike him I didn’t have a shield
The scars in my heart to this day remain unhealed
How could he betray me after all these years
now im left here heartbroken and in tears

I was a fool to fall for his ways
He played his game very well indeed
How could I be so blind and not see.

Now im slowly trying to put the pieces back together
Hoping one day I will be able to forgive and forget
To leave him in the past and not live with regrets.

sweety, guys are idiots when it comes to true love,
they always seem to think the grass is greener somewhere else, but usually when we figure out that the grass was not greener it is to late.
these times in your life are what makes you a good poet, you write from your heart no matter how angry you are inside & that is what counts,I wish I could explain to you what makes guys do stupid things but I dont know how,I am a man & have treated girls like that in my past never knew why just did,& the regret i live with but there is noone to blame but me,
you keep your head up high & please keep writing you do this so well, makes me proud to read your work.if you ever have any question that you think I might be able to help you with please let me know ,I will do my best to give you the correct answers to the best of my ability.
you dont have to read my poems to ask me question though you can email me at "thehotshotpoet@yahoo.com"& you can also find me on facebook under my real name " Roy Randolph Andrews,
never the less your work is beautiful so dont change anything for anyone & you will do just fine,
thanks for sharing
the hot shot poet
