[hometext] => A poem I wrote: influenced by War Poet Wilfred Owen. Enjoy!
[bodytext] => His eyes were blue, scarred by flocks of death. Finally, he scampered to a final day of being. Tiresome, analysed every breathe and every notion of human existence began depleting. Whilst he watched the young man screaming, against the searing sun: red blood gleaming. From his bare belly, it continued streaming, as the medics tried in vein to calm the bleeding. His life stained their ragged hands of healing, as the screaming halted and it gave up pleading. He was ordered to bury it; he nodded, acceding. Dug the hole, as the sun continued beaming. Body now discarded, to begin decomposing, only one thought could he muster: ‘dreaming, dreaming.’ [comments] => 1 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 57 [informant] => me1234 [notes] => Please do not comment on your own work.
