It all started with one pen and one book
How he's defined depends on his imagination
But as times changed so did his look
Not it's bout time for a re-evaluation...

You gon let other suckas shape your image
If anything that's what they're tryna finish
Look at you, your self-esteem is leaking out
Your emotional being is bleeding out
Damn, you really blame yourself for Mommy's death
C'mon, have you not any self-respect left
Man I'm not just talking for my health
I'm tryna save myself

(Verse 2)
Right now you think you're all alone
Believe me, you got it all wrong
I've been with you since the day you were born
And every single day that's come and gone
But it seems like you need to be reminded
So I decided to break my silence
Come out your abyssal heart and stop hiding
Hiding from Donavan

(Verse 3)
I used to hate myself, I was ashamed
I'm blessed to say that feeling does not remain
With the strength of future knowledge that I'll attain
I'll eventually overcome my past pain
This book is my mirror, that's how I made this self-connection
Writing on the mirror, call it writing a reflection
Deepthroat fear so there's nothing I'm scared of
I'm finally face to face with the man in the...
