I who pretends to know it all I believe in the power of love I believe in the will to be happy I believe in courage I believe in truth I believe in the existence of good I believe in God I believe in you.. What do I see in my world? I who pretends to understand it all I see confusion I see pain I see hatred and disappointment I see ruin and distress But at least I see hope What do i fear the most? I who pretends to be above fear I fear loneliness I fear deceit I fear pain I fear defeat I fear my vulnerability I fear the unknown I fear thwe power of my fears What do I know for sure? I who pretends to have it all figured out Nothing really... Nothing is certain But I've learned that life goes on People change Time heals Hope brings courage Love conquers Happiness is possible God loves What else should a mortal, Weak as myself, Ever need to know? What else could possibly be necessary To give me the strength to continue?
