Took me so long but I finally see
You never really cared for me
Bet you found it funny
Thank you for the slap in the face
I asked you to leave
Set you free, not once but twice
And just when I would start to feel
Ok about a life without you
Both times you came back
Trading a moment of sheer pleasure
For months of misery
Thank you for the slap in the face
Could have been love but well never know
Not one in a million
But someone once in a lifetime
You have lost
Thank you for the slap in the face
A top the pedestal your throne no more
Could have been your queen
Instead I was your peasant
Used and abused at your convenience
Thank you for the slap in the face
Finally you are out
Not only of my head
But most importantly
Evicted from my heart
Thank you for the slap in the face
