Blindsided-Crazy-Rumors-Screwed-Clarity?

I was not expecting you but what a surprise
Butterflies appeared like I won my 1st prize
Its not easy sleeping with this feeling
Its hard not knowing the meaning

I hardly know you but my heart beats sad
Fallen hard without a reason I want you bad
I bore my family and friends with your name
Im really crazy for you it sounds so lame
Whats your favorite color, movie, or drink
Dont know dont care I just want you, I think

I heard some stuff that threw me for a loop
Why do I listen to the dirty rumor soup
Is it true do I have you all wrong in my mind
I must try to learn and see what I can find
Is it a mistake to listen to the rumor mill
I dont know but once I heard I sat real still

Those weird questions that I shouldnt have mentioned
I wish I could tell you that was not my intention
You laughed me off right away I wouldve done the same
Dont like me too much you say I know Im the one to blame
I know now your past is probably not what I had framed
But after careful rational thinking I realize I want you all the same

I see clearly and can move without knowing the meaning
But who am I kidding its really hard to shake this feeling
Ive heard that what I felt was the longing for affection
But I swear it was more than lust that is my reflection
I want to text you but Im afraid you think Im creepy
I see clearly now that I rushed in Im done being weepy
