My sweet baby, where did you go,
This pain burns inside of me so.
I go to sleep with a tear in my eye,
Knowing that I’ll never understand why.
Someone would take you away from me,
And place you in such misery.
They say missing children are seldom found,
When taken mysteriously from a playground.
There’s no way to deal with this kind of pain,
And each day it grows just the same.
I’m less of a person then I use to be,
For anger and vengeance lives inside of me.
I’d give the world just to see your smile,
Without you I’m nothing that’s worthwhile.

 Written for all the parents who ever lost a child.
God be with them.

This is so sad. But beautifully written. My heart goes out to all those who have lost a child.

This is so sad yet you made a beautiful heartfelt tribute with this poem. My cousin Amber disappeared over a year ago and we have never found her as of yet. She was older but the stigma is still the same. The worst part is not knowing then the nightmares come too haunt you of what happened to them or what has happend too them. I know first hand what this is like. My family back home has been crushed. The stress has caused health problems with a relative. Just so sad!!
