Adulterous Friend
My beloved has betrayed
My love and given herself
To another. I told you that
I was destroyed to the point
Of committing suicide
You knew this - - my friend
Yet what has occurred now?
Hideous deceit! I wish that I
Had never laid eyes upon both
Your faces - - foul adulterer
You take of my wife and you
Consign my life to the bowels
Of Hell. Did you think of me
When you held her or kissed
Those sweet lips? Tell me!
Friend? I would call you not
Even a man but a skulking rat
Who feeds upon the scraps of
The table. You have driven a
Dagger in-between my shoulders.
My heart has been ripped from
My chest and hurled before swine
My very soul is blackened and
It is all down to you my friend the
Adulterer. You deserve each other
