[hometext] => I wrote this poem in 5 minutes just after the rememberance day service in England on 11th november 2011, and it is for all those who were lost during the world wars and all those effected.
[bodytext] => For the selfless souls who won us the prize For the young naive who were soon made wise, For the nation’s future they scarred their eyes, Not for bratwurst or sushi but for steak and ale pies, For the king, queen and country, they prevented our demise, For the peace to exist now above Britain’s skies, I'll be sure to remember when November arrives, The sacrifice they gave for us, the ultimate, their lives.
