lots to be unfurled
i held you in my arms so dearly
close to my heart so very clearly
first time you open up your eyes
with such a father daughter ties
you are such a grace
that i could embrace
your cries, is so heaven's music
it embodies with such intrinsic
with your being so fragile
handle it care, with a smile
with your gentle warmth wonderful touch
is such a love of beauty, too much
onto forehead i would kiss
to protect, i shall promise
with your such soft velvet nice skin
in my soul, love comes from within [comments] => 3 [counter] => 146 [topic] => 5 [informant] => xanvier [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChildrensPoetry )

The Bible says about children,
"Happy is the man who has his
quiver full!" What joy you know
will also be just as real when that
precious little one presents you
with newborn grandchildren.
That in essence, is what life
is all about! Now you know
it's secret! Joy unspeakable.
Blessings,
Robert Edgar Burns
