Spawned by love our litany,
Bursts forth and passes tree to tree.
Surrounded by a sea of green,
Our love is heard but never seen.

I stroke your face, you blow a kiss,
Not a thing in life amiss
I cannot put in words this dream
This hidden love is so extreme.

From whence you came I’ll never know,
But realise I love you so.
No-one ever could deny
How fine you are to human eye.

When I awake and you are gone,
My skin is wet and cold and wan.
Bereft of happiness am I
Without your vision to espy.

I cannot wait for sleep to come
Which will be soon by rule of thumb.
Whence there our passion we’ll ignite
I’ll keep you here as long I might.

Although our love is in my dreams
It never feels that way it seems.
So darling I must truly say
Forever keep me here this way.

Dream Love

Spawned by love our litany,

Our love is heard but never seen.
