The waves wash over the surface
It is safe to say you deserved this
There is no point being nervous
All of heaven only knows I tried to help
It is clear that youve fallen
A pair of wings wasnt your calling
Your demeanor is appalling
This is not what I envisioned for you
You abused my gift, you never learned
You took for granted and now you burn
I remember each prayer, and everything that you said to me
I can look deep inside, and see who you meant to be
I just want you to know, what you truly meant to me
Know this isnt easy for me, it never gets any easier
Your path wasnt destined to go under
But I can justify killing others
The night sky flows through with my thunder
My anger with man is a testament
I never planned on hurting you
I know you feel like I am deserting you
You never expressed what life was worth to you
It is free will that has led you here
You abused my gift, you let me down
Crying is useless, youll eventually drown
I remember each prayer, and everything that you said to me

Interesting poem. I often pity those who do not have the strength to be a good person, and a killer is the ultimate example.
It is sad that life has brought them to a point in their life where they are willing to kill another person. I think pity is what people should feel the most of. Not just anger and hatred. |
