[bodytext] => Cuts You only get one set You can’t grow another They are called your fingers But I can’t stop cutting them As a child I cut both thumbs Whilst cutting bread into slices I had the knife upside down Once I thought it would be fun to see if a razorblade was sharp It was, I cut the top nearly off my finger then it bled for ages I put my finger in my mouth, which was a bad idea Recently I have cut my thumbs several times Three in a week, twice on a door The in and out bit sliced my skin as I closed it with my hand I have an abundance of scars Keep all blades away I’m a finger cutting freak Once a scraper cut my thumb whilst cleaning off gum I cut a chunk out my thumb, ouch! I need to walk about with gauntlets Medieval mittens, a must Thumb guards, essential Onions, beware, tomatoes too You don’t want parts of me in your salad do you? Cut out the cutting, I’ll try But the world needs a good chopping Things need cutting every day I’ll have to hire a person to cut Before I chop something off By banjosandwitch 23/07/11 [comments] => 2 [counter] => 220 [topic] => 63 [informant] => banjosandwitch [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => hbadday )
