To the aid of the beautiful somebody
Parted the waters of wovles
Brought light to a darkened life
Gave his heart to his somebody
The greatest nobody slowly realized
She belonged to another
Mortified stupified he gave her more
She loved the nobody but couldn't be his
Two lovers untwisted unbound alone
The greatest nobody tried to be there for her
Pride wouldn't allow him to be in the shadows
Cruel fate and faithless situation
The greatest nobody was saddened by this
He wanted her but couldn't have her
His somebody took it all and left with her somebody
Lonely he realized be was the greatest nobody
For everybody
But would only want his somebody
Not the nobodies

| Very interesting write.... the fact that we all have thoughts of finding and losing love takes a little deeper meaning in this poem. Thanks for sharing it. |
