Upon this path we walk
We skate the ice
Where shivers of darkness climb,
Only to find the light beneath our feet
To give or receive,
To punish or reward,
To enslave to free,
Questions to which no one know my answer
What is to coincide?
Are we there are we here
I know do you
This path is long this path is far,
But to what distance do we walk?
The paths are chosen,
Where do you stand
Do you stand with me
We stand together but how long together?
We break the fortunes of all with simple thought and recollection
The masses stand only to bow as we walk alone
Upon this path we walk
The masses are happy,
The masses are placid
For the joys of renewal are upon them
They have seen the shivers of darkness,
But also see the light beneath there feet
Like moths to the flame
We have shown the way.
If they choose to follow so be it
But what's ahead many will fail
Again we skate the ice
As we watch windows become mirrors
The past and the present must take place
For the future to further feather your existence.

I love the feel of where it came from.
