He reappeared in the winter of her years,
As gently as a summer breeze.
His voice was music to her ears,
She listened to him with such ease.

Their meeting was not one of chance,
They reconnected right away.
She knew she wanted him at first glance;
How she wished he was here to stay.

She imagined his fingers caressing her skin
As softly as the ocean spray.
Being with him made her head spin,
She prayed, with her, he would stay.

His smile mesmerized her all night,
The memory of his touch brought her pleasure.
About this man, she had to write,
Cause she had regained a treasure.

To lie down and sleep, she was afraid
Her mind, in a state of confusion.
She closed my eye for a minute and prayed
That he was not an apparition.

This is truly a beautiful piece of writing. The rhyme is spot on and the flow is soft, making this a very readable poem. Thanks for sharing.

Well, was it...an apparition?
Reconnecting with loves from
the past can be an exciting
proposition for ones ready for
the newness to begin.
Good luck if this is the case.
Blessings,
Rob
