My heart is heavy
Bleeds a sense of loss
Into eyes wilted with words
Written too soon,
Confides in me false aplomb

Left to view old love
Drawn thin, stripped naked,

Paper Conduit—

My heart is heavy
Bleeds a sense of loss
Into eyes wilted with words
Written too soon,
Confides in me false aplomb
Leaves me untouched
Left to view old love
Drawn thin, stripped naked,
