I sit there breathing in the pain, yearning and burning up in the arizonan rain

Push my hands to my eyes and shut the sound,
pull my sight along my head and look around around

She left me a exhausted and not even a friend,
I thought, no I hoped my search was at an end

She painted a lie that could best Mozart,  ohh god where did this roller coaster for my heart all start?

She danced around with a string on each finger, with a lift of one I moved with her

What am I? A piece to her game?
Just another one, another boy to tame?

She lifted my strings and gave me life
But now reality came back with a sharp knife

It sweeps across cutting every tie
Each has a tug, each has a cry

Then everything dropped, remenants tangling me
Nothing but a pile, a tombstone of what used to be

But there it is it's done, I'm free
I'll say it again, it's new to me, it's liberty

And I have found a new face,
One I won't forget the time or place

Sit down, strap in and take a breath
Ride two, something new, I've been waiting for you
