Hide in an open field
Become a shadow camouflaged
As the stream in the wood unseen
Flowing freely on with the valley
To the lake by the sea
In the sun of this world
All the days are moments
In darkness of pasts still colder
As in distance retreating
They fall from memories
Uncertain as exiles
In times and places unvisited
As skies revengeful open
Darker still cloak of ill omen
In a dream as a fool unmasked
Ends without beginning
Unchosen as forever
