Array ( [sid] => 162333 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Left Behind [time] => 2010-09-16 06:32:48 [hometext] => This was written due to a break up in my life (Please comment and tell me what you think) [bodytext] => Left behind in the past…
With memories that will always last…
I am broken…
Trapped in my own place…

You moved undoubted…
I was left behind…
Broken hearted…
Something that might not heal…

I will always show my mask…
Pain, Sorrow, Anger if you ask…
With blood stained tears…
I’ll pretend everything is okay…

The light in the tunnel has died…
I was left behind…
Your voice and soft skin…
You were everything I dreamt of and more…

I live my life in pain…
Only memories will remain…
I will smile and wave…
But once you’re gone I’ll say everything is wrong…

Love is blind…
I was left behind…
The dark tunnel grows larger…
It consumes me in pain…

I have no regret…
Of the day we met…
I hide under my skin…
Carved your name into my bones…

Now I know my life…
Will never be the same…
I put my mask on…
It will make me forget…

I was left behind…
Now I am left behind…
This will never change…
This is my last good-bye…

Hi, nice to meet you. Thank you for your encouragement.
Great job with power words in this sad and beautiful poem. I find you a strong and understanding friend in the big big world. I love your courage.
