I didn't know where I was going,
Little pieces would just disappear.
Months would go by,
Years went by.
All the things I hated about people,
I was becoming.
I found myself chasing a ghost of a dream.
What I found I hated,
I had no stomach for me.
A fake, false, strutting...idiot.
Commercialism ate my soul,
What the hell have I been doing?!?
After the fallout it seems
I fell out.
I suppose I'm on a social rehab program.
How to be a person again,
I've been an ass for far to long.
Hating myself for hating myself.
These last few years have been unacceptable.
I am unacceptable,
I am not a man. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 390 [topic] => 13 [informant] => deadreckoning1983 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

You seem very exposed here...honest, and ready for change.

These last few years have been unacceptable.
I am unacceptable,
I am not a man.

I can hear the determination to change. Well executed.
