[title] => Farewell from Earth
[time] => 2003-04-17 03:05:00
[hometext] => The year is 2080 and man has gradually conquered the inhospitable
terrain of 'Mars' and build colonies of settlement there.This poem is a futuristic attempt to express the feelings of a space age boy who is leaving for the first time from earth. [bodytext] => Countless generations passed by, thickening,expanding and complicating, the prodigal annals of scientific diversity, each outsmarting the other, with fathomless tenacity. Once more the poor sun dimmed away its diminishing light, dispising man's stupendous might. A lad stood watching;his eyes filled with lust, for a red,dirty globular speck of dust, Those years of training in fitness bars, he is now seconds away from planet 'Mars'. As muddled thoughts seeped through his packed brain, he felt a slow rising dreadful pain, leaving mother earth warm and known, his body shuddered deep to the bone. His professional sumptious friends would have thought of him; an emotional weakling, to yield to such ancient human feeling. A silent jerk broke his reverie, as the spaceship zoomed off the prairie. His frantic eyes searched for the greenish blue gold, life is now destined to be reddish mettalic and cold.
