Are hard to give
It’s easier to die
Than it is to live
It’s easier to lose
Than it is to win
Life’s getting harder
Than it’s ever been
But it was easier before
And it will get easier again
A mother’s love
For a father’s hate
Will always win
At the end of the day
So she kisses me goodnight
I get into bed
And store all my hate away
I close my eyes
Lift my hands
And I begin to pray
I look out on the stars
See the image of God’s face
And I know everything now
Will be ok
I heard my father later
“God forgive me for my sins”
And now he’s much better
Than he’s ever been
This is how the true love

Encouraging thoughts
Are hard to give
It’s easier to die
Than it is to live
It’s easier to lose
Than it is to win
Life’s getting harder
Than it’s ever been
But it was easier before
And it will get easier again
A mother’s love
For a father’s hate
Will always win

So very true, a great flowing emotional poem, the type I can relate to. Great write.
