I would do anything
Just to meet her

For her

But I'm sitting here
Thinking about a girl
And how to steal her away
From her world

I wanna be
Someone other than myself
Because if I was

I wake up

To start another
Pointless day

I'm feelin' lonely again

Great poem.

This is just my opinion but if you have to be something other than yourself to have the woman of your dreams - she isn't really the woman of your dreams. The woman you finally fall in love with should accept you for who you are and love everything about you.

Welcome to your-poetry.com!!! Lovely write, but I have to agree with Sleepless_siren. A girl should accept you for who you are... and you shouldn't want to be someone else just to get a girl.... Best of luck!!

Thank you for your words on my poem.

The reason I wrote that last stanza was because I'm beginning to think that some girls are really shallow and don't look past skin deep.
