May was the month when I got to know you
The time when I learned who I was too
I realized that I got it all wrong
That Ive never had a greater love to show
That every time you had to go
I kept wishing to me you belonged

May is these hours I spent staring at you
Those seconds, asking myself does she love me too
Those minutes I knew you did
And those I didnt know what to think
It might sound like a question from a kid
But it made my pen bleed so much ink

May, be the moment that changed me
Who made me see love bigger than the sea
That showed me the way and gave me the key
To the real bliss, the one on which we all agree

Maybe we will never be
Maybe it will be forever
May I love you for all eternity
May you be my lover
