My Shelter

In comes summer
as the days start to get hot
how am I supposed to survive it
with every thing I've got

How will I get by three months
without the shelter of school
how am I supposed to live
when you were my survival tool

You're the one thing in my life
that makes it all okay
you're the only thing I have
that sets me on my way

You show me what is right
And you show me what is wrong
how can I get though this
if everything that was right is gone

You were the angel sent from heaven
and to you I just won't lie
you've given me a shelter
a shoulder on which to cry

But as the summer gets near
I can see it all start to disappear
You will always be my way
I just hope I get the chance to say

I LOVE YOU!
and I hope you love me too
