The familure taste of failure
As hopefuly skies come crashing down
Pain tears through our body
Rain could be a welcome comfort now
But judging eyes have left us blind
And all we heard was thunder
While we missed the beauty
That lit up the night sky
Dwelled to much on a past we can't change
Untill we let our hearts die
So we searched for any sign of light
But somewhere we lost all meaning
Gave up on all our dreaming
Slowly we killed the child inside
And let go of happiness with barely a fight

I think many of us have felt like this at one time or another in our lives.
It takes great courage and strength to admit when we've made mistakes,
and even more to stand up and fight for what we believe in, to be true to ourselves, even if it is with regret.
Never give up on your dreams, wipe the sleep from your eyes, listen to the breeze, admire the sky, then allow your heart to shine and guide you......
