[bodytext] => Holding Back the Terrors. My mind is a maelstrom of confusion, As thoughts, one by one, emerge relentlessly, Attacking my consciousness with no time for respite. I want them to stop, or allow me to contemplate, One thing at a time but this is not granted to me. Like a storm battering a coastline, destroying everything, My mind feels as if it is being peeled like a fruit, The skin and pith removed and the soft flesh revealed. That flesh is being gnawed away eroding my reason, Challenging my decision making, my very psyche. There has to be a way to slow this descent, Because if not I may soon be resident in a room, Padded, soundproofed and under constant supervision. My only company a myriad or collage of random images, Neither satisfying nor extensive enough to preserve my sanity.
