Last night in my dreams I floated amongst the stars.
Nebulae, providing huge works of natural art
Lit up the darkness, a myriad of colours with depth,
Shape and form, impossible to describe but beautiful to witness.
Stars so bright that to gaze upon them was painful,
But the asymmetrical, abstract dispersal of light on black
Was enough to make the heart stop momentarily in awe.
The exquisiteness and magnificence of our universe was open to me.

My heart was soaring upon high in similar fashion that day,
When you emerged from a library, flicking your hair back,
Arching your back in a stretch and pointed your face toward the heavens.
For me this must have been your home, the place of your birth.
Such a face could not be recreated on canvas, and any attempt,
By artist or photographer was doomed to failure, for you are sublime.
No sculptor could reproduce your perfect lines, your complexion,
Or even attempt to replicate the delicacy of your flesh.

I thank whoever is in the heavens that created you my love,
For you are mine and I will be yours till the stars fall from the skies.

A poem which depicted your admiration for this woman as well as love flawlessly. It almost reminded me of something John Keats would have written to his Fanny. Simply amazing work here. Well done.
