Array ( [sid] => 159060 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Mother Nature... [time] => 2010-04-20 09:45:38 [hometext] => I wrote this poem in junior english and kind of started to like it, so took the plunge and posted it lol. :) Tell me what you think good helpful feed back please! [bodytext] => Mother Nature
The spring grass it sways gently from right to left
The angry river’s clean smell floods the crisp spring air
This is just another spring day
So peaceful yet so define
The controller, Mother Nature works the magic
He, she, whatever it may be
Controls the earth, the climate, the weather
Where does she lie in the dark of the night?
I want to know how, I want to know why?
Mother Nature. . . .my friend
Bring me rain
Bring me snow
Bring me gusty winds that make the autumn leaves blow
Excitingly awaiting your next move
Still waiting to feel that mysterious touch of you
The sculpted mountains you show your warm sunlight upon
Melts the rigged winter snow away
And so I wonder once again who you are and where you stay?
These are questions I’d like answered someday. . .
Then I realize
You are the pieces to everything
You are the center of the universe
You are the ancient wispy willow trees that lie in the fields below
The dirt that dangles from the playful 6 year olds knees
The dew that drip from the glorious daffodils on the walk out to get the newspaper each morning
To experience your magic
Is such an honor
And so I thank you
As everyone should
For bringing things to life
Just as God would

What a gorgeous write. You have created so many images here that each line flows beautifully.

This is a lovely write about Mother Nature, full appreciation for all we see around, and questioning who what and why.Good way to approach poetry with detailed description then telling exactly how you feel, esp liked the lines And so I wonder once again who you are and where you stay, you are the ancient wispy willow trees and the dew that drips from the the glorious daffodils.
