Look into my eyes What do you see A lover, a friend An enemy
Are we friends For what we share? In life In love For our affair In this I say We must compare Do not you see One entity In all we share
I am me And you are to We are me Still you are you I see me And you to I can see That we are me Both me and you
For not it is just Our human hearts In assembly Of different parts?
Look into my eyes What do you see I see you As well as me

A very reflective poem. (sorry couldn't help myself) But seriously, scintillating.
I love the way the lines mirror each other,
the choice of words and structure is perfect.
Once again i'd like to read more of yours so keep writing,
and if you could offer me advice on any of my poems i'd be quite pleased.
Keep it up.
Mickey. |
