Sweet dreams and sunshine
Wonderful feelings that couldn't compare
Long talks at night and teasing as lovers would do
But now that's all gone since I had to say
The truth that was threatening the life out of me all this time

You saw me all alone and on my own
Picturing what we could be like
I wasn't so sure of this but i just gave in
Feeling that this could probably could work out
Yet I know now that things like this shouldn't be played like a game

I hid my feelings and the truth that should've been out in the first place
Why i couldn't say no I'll never know
And now I feel I've torn you're world apart
But thanks for caring and loving me dear
Thanks for putting up with me in the hard times and with my confusing
I guess what I'm trying to say is
Thank you for everything

you didn't deserve this
You bet I know this but yet i still let you down
I didn't want to hurt you by rejecting you so
But you'd rather the cold hard truth now i know
