what an odd time of night for a visitor I thought to myself
as I aproached the door a dark shadow come over me
if I opened the door it'd seal my fate
fate of death and pain
who could this odd stranger be?
Now pounding on my door.
A voice comes in my mind
a voice that's not my own
it says the stanger is therapy for my broken soul
but inside I know
This stangers come to take me away
to a land of darkness
pain raining down in sheets of rain
Inside my soul trembles but my fear won't show
I appraoch the door giving up my safety.
I look out the window and see only black
the blackness of this monsters heart
I open the door and get swept away in the shadows
but my skins glowing, translucent.
showing me I'm a beacon of light.
The shadow tries to enter me
then the sun comes up

most of my dreams are sort of premonitions, for example one night I had a dream that I was at my uncles funeral and the next morning I found out that he'd died of a heart attack in the night. I try to translate my dreams into what they may meen but this one didn't seem to make much sense to me so I wrote it as a poem that morning because the words came to me before I woke up. Sort of odd I admit but it's part of who I am.
