[bodytext] => Flickering eyes in a vaguely lit arena Lips red from the pressure of her teeth Face curved like perfect architecture Creeping slowly nearer like a thief To steal the touch I’ve waited for Basking in the warmth of friction Noises of the action floods my ears Continuing to feed the addiction Of the very thought of the perfect angel Whose wings have trapped me. My bittersweet reason to believe In something never meant to be Gently gripped by her talons My angel’s got me dreaming In sweet lament, longing for her scent Until desperation has tears streaming Down my face, thinking of a better place With her. Trailing a single finger along her jaw line Her lips; soft and quivering, pale from the cold I sigh and watch her move with every breath So many things I want to say and haven’t told Like how she makes my world turn around How she’s the only reason that I breathe And although I know I don’t deserve you I just can’t seem to want to leave I’ll wait forever and a day for you Through the anger, the pain and sorrow And I would give up all of my yesterdays Just to be in your tomorrow [comments] => 2 [counter] => 200 [topic] => 2 [informant] => JoseyJ [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 22 [ratings] => 6 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
