Expressions of love
words do not need

A touch so simple
so electric can be
that a new life can start
immediately

A glance
then a stare

beauty unveiled
beyond compare

a look in an eye
an almost unheard sigh
a heart beat skipped
brighten many a sky

Love is never promised
and may not be true

Love untried
worse yet
diminishes the amount
of life we get

For love to be
ever true
There is something
you need to do

Go to the source
where love abounds
and ask of He who sits there

Is there any love to spare

In a voice so gentle and kind
He bids you come forth and find

More love than ever you will need
and for this love
you don't have to plead

A love on a level
you cannot believe
finally your angst
will be relieved

You hear His voice
it massages your soul

You've only to ask
and I'll overfill your bowl

Is this love real
or do I count it loss

For the answer to that

Just look to the cross.
