Array ( [sid] => 157147 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Pointless Suffering [time] => 2010-02-01 06:29:49 [hometext] => I write this because I'm annoyed after reading in the news that a teenage boy performed suicide over breaking up. [bodytext] => Some people say they’d suffer for love…
But I’d rather not.
They say they’d die
when their loved ones leave…
because they fear of solitude
But I’ll never.

These people say
they’ll love a person
no matter what
Even if that person has taken off
And in reality, they are alone
Confused in their own obsession
Disillusioned by tempting dreams

Look around you.
If you’re alone, and your loved one’s gone
If you’ve given up everything,
Just to make him stay…
But still he leaves.
And still you chase, forever…
Never losing hope.

Are you stalking?

It’s no longer a love story
one no longer loves the other.

Open your eyes.
People have killed themselves, before
To feel the aching pain
Of heartbreak no more
These mindless fools,
Dying pointlessly…
For someone who, bluntly
Doesn't even care
Abandoning some people
who truly loves them.

In many ways you could say
there are 2 victims here the
one gone ,and the one left.

It's sad love, i know it can
drive you to the very edge

well written poem.
Take care
Fuzzy

This is such a brilliant and touching write.
So many of us have suffered terribly at times for whatever reason, and in so many ways.....
But the very thought that there is only one way out to some is so distressing, To let such feelings of others
pass us by when we, or someone, could possibly help?
I don't know what the answer is, but thankyou for highlighting a very real fear, and I truly hope that people can find the strength to face their fears x

it is sad to lose someone u love... esp. family, spouse and what not, but that teenage story u mentioned seems pointless... u pointed out the concepts of love and solitude... it's kinda selfish to get with someone only because they're lonely....

i remember hearing "Love is just another word for people who are afraid of being alone." and thats kinda true in a way. this was very heart/thought provoking...

take care
