I went today to the place where it all began
My heart felt empty as the tears just ran
Many have asked for the complete to see
Wanting to get the full picture of me

So into my mind you would like to probe
The thoughts continually flash as fast as a strobe
There are nooks and crannies that exist within my head
Where no one has been brave enough to dare tread

Thank you God for this incredible ride
The only regret is that behind my works I have to hide
It would have been great to stand publicly beside each one
But then perhaps your mission would not have been done

Thoughts that run the full spectrum of life
Happiness, sadness, love and strife
Dark corners filled with of thoughts of the macabre
When they run short on ideas, these areas they pillage and rob

Joyous thoughts that can carry you so high in the sky
You would think you were able to fly
Sad thoughts of death and despair
Many so bad I am not able to share

Thank you God for this incredible ride
The only regret is that behind my works I have to hide
It would have been great to stand publicly beside each one
But then perhaps your mission would not have been done

Today as I made my way to the top of the mountain’s peak
It has been ten years and still answers to the questions I still seek
Why Dear God have you placed your faith in me?
How am I to know if the words are reaching those who need to see?

So you want to take that journey inside my mind?
Just be prepared for whatever it is you may find
This journey has allowed me to walk with more Saints that I could ever tell
It has also taken me directly through the fiery streets of Satan’s Hell

Thank you God for this incredible ride
The only regret is that behind my works I have to hide
It would have been great to stand publicly beside each one
But then perhaps your mission would not have been done
