From my friends and family
Served notice on my flat this week
The bills just got to me

I've tried so hard to make it work
A second job and all
But even then, ends do not meet
It drives me up the wall

My daughter eats but I do not
Just feast upon her crumbs
It's so cold when I go to bed
My feet are almost numb

The fact is, i'm so capable
It really makes me cry
That this government has tied me up
And bled me till i'm dry

Oh my............I'm just speechless dear.
Is there no one that can help you and your little girl, someone very near?
Ask for help, don't be too proud.
If you have to......scream it aloud!
You're in my prayers...........hang in there
and don't give up.
I'll keep you close to my heart.
May I help you? I'd be so glad to if only I could
Warm love
consue

your poem says it all...
a lot of us r going thru this kind of struggle,
it's really saddening people hav to suffer/sacrifice
just to do what's best for their families during this
recession. Just hang in there, you've got all the
support you need from your friends/family...

take care

-K.Z.

Hi,

Hang in there, Lisa - and don't give it up too
readily - don't make their job easy!

Remember, there are organisations that you
can talk to, especially where there is the welfare
of a child involved.

I'm sorry to hear of your plight. Clearly Mr Brown's government has failed many people in this country, and that explains the current disillusionment with his tenure. Taxes are too high, as are general utility bills. This has crucified people like yourself, with aspiration for a better future. It's not good enough. We're a developed country, we should be able to look after our people better than this. Not that any other politicians would do a much better job. They are all, sadly, out of touch.

Soldier on, and never lose your self-belief.

-Phil
