Don't you know, he looks like you,
He's got the same eyes as have you,
And he's got the same smile as have you,
Yes, he looks just like his father.

Sometimes he's acting like an adult
And by this he reminds me you,
He's beautiful just like you,
He's brave and gorgeous as his father
And someday, I'm sure, he'll follow in your footsteps.
I don't know why, but I'm sure about that.

He's got both your courage and eyes,
Even the way he walks reminds me you,
And looking at him right now, I,
I don't wanna believe that someday
He'll become the heart-breaker as are you.

I don't want him to repeat your fate,
Don't want him to break heart to the mother
Of his child, you can be sure I won't let him
To do what you once did to me.

His son will know his father
As opposed to you,
His wife will never curse him,
Having cried for weeks as had I,
She'll never make wonder
What would've been if he was better
Than his father
After all he's done.
He will be better than you,
I know...
Cos he's your son
And kids have to be much better
Than their parents...

I'd like him to know you,
I'd like him to look into your eyes
And see the one,
Who he will never be.
Yes, he looks like you,
But he'll never be you,
Though he's your son,
You wished to never know.

I knew I would love this poem from the first line. Although it is so painful to read, It really speaks out to me. I know exactly how you feel. Best wishes to you......
